What is Mediation?
Mediation is a structured conversation. An independent, impartial mediator does not decide the dispute. The mediator helps the parties talk, understand each other’s interests, and voluntarily agree on a solution they can live with.
Unlike a court judgment, a mediated agreement belongs to the parties. It is confidential, faster in most cases, and designed to preserve relationships where that is possible and appropriate.
